Rain rain go away

The heavens seem to be releasing tension they’ve built up over a millenium.

If this were biblical times, people might say, “We are being drowned by the sins of our past.”

But honestly who are we to complain as long as we still have our homes and wits about us?

So many families are being put through the wringer right now and it breaks my heart that we can’t seem to have one calm year.

Everything continues to feel hard.

Yet we’re asked to be strong.

To hope for a better tomorrow.

But sometimes we need to grieve before we can take that leap.
